Jacob Glicklich
Jacob Glicklich is the VP of Bargaining for MGAA. He's a first year Phd student at the department of History, with a concentration on 19th Century British Imperialism and gender constructions involved in this process. Previously, Jacob earned a BA from UW-Madison and a MA from the University of Akron.

Lee Abbott
Lee Abbott is Co-President of the Milwaukee Graduate Assistants Association. He has previously served as a term as Vice President of Membership and Vice President of Grievances. He has been on the Executive Committee since May 2007. He is involved in the Editorial Collective of Critical Work Newspaper, a publication for workplace democracy at UWM, and in the Educators' Network for Social Justice and the Coalition Against Mayoral Takeover of MPS. He is a fourth year PhD student in Modern Studies and English, and teaches composition and cultural studies courses in the English Department.

Dawn Tefft
Dawn Tefft is Co-President of the MGAA. She is a union representative to the Education Rights Campaign at UWM, in which capacity she helped plan and carry out the Education Rights Forum. She also recently attended the US Social Forum in Detroit, a means of bringing together and connecting activists from across the country. A fifth-year PhD student in Creative Writing, Dawn teaches courses in composition, literature, and creative writing for the English Department.

Jason LaCorte
Jason La Corte was elected Treasurer of the MGAA in Spring 2010. He is a 1st-year PhD student in Mathematics. Jason began teaching mathematics at the post-secondary level in 2005, and was previously employed by Austin Community College as an adjunct professor.

Andrew is the Vice President of Grievances and the committee chair for the Worksite Leaders Committee. He is a 2nd year PhD candidate in Rhetoric and Composition and teaches two sections of first-year English composition.

Staff Representative
Paul Sickel
Paul Sickel (pictured in back row middle in yellow raincoat with strike supporters at the University of Illinois) is the full-time staff representative of the MGAA. He joined our organization in 2006 after working five years organizing and representing health care workers across Wisconsin with SEIU Local 150. At MGAA, he has supported two contract campaigns and has worked to increase membership by 15% from the time he started.
